If love doesn’t feel like 90’s country music, I don’t want it.
If love doesn’t give me the butterflies every time that someone is coming to see me, I don’t want it.
If love doesn’t support me and push me to excel in life, I don’t want it.
If love doesn’t comfort me when truly needed, I don’t want it.
If love doesn’t surprise me with the most simple, thoughtful dates, I don’t want it.
If love doesn’t want to show me off, I don’t want it.
If love doesn’t acknowledge me for the effort and love I put into it, I don’t want it.
If love doesn’t call me when needing a shoulder to lean on for support, I don’t want it.
If love doesn’t make me feel beautiful and confident, I don’t want it.
If love doesn’t show me love, I don’t want it.

Now….

If love writes me a note from the heart and leaves it on my truck window, I want love.
If love makes everyone know I’m theirs because they’re damn proud to have me, I want love.
If love pushes me in life when things feel too much and stays by my side fully supporting me, I want love.
If love makes me smile until my cheeks are sore & light up like the sun everytime I’m around it, I want love.
If love makes me want to listen to country music because it reminds me of the love I have, I want love.
If love makes me want to go out of my way to plan surprise dates with fires and twinkle lights in the woods, I want love.
If love makes me feel confident and the only one in the world, I want love.
If love gives me one hundred percent trust and happiness, I want love.
If love creates this feeling inside of me that I’ve never felt before, I want love.
If love makes me feel like the girl being sung about in my favourite country song, I want love.
If love treats me lovingly, I want love.
