So sometimes I make cookies just to eat the dough. I have always, always, always loved dough of any treat. The sweetness and smooth consistency makes me eat half the batter 😛 So, I created this concoction (accidentally) that resembles cookie dough. Soft & chewy healthy cookies! Sugar-free too if you replace the choco chips with nuts. Recipe Below….
Cookie Dough Cookies:
•healthy•vegan•delicious•candida friendly•
Ingredients:
•1/2 cup cashew butter (or any nut butter will do)
•1/2 cup coconut flour
•1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 cup xylitol
• 1/2 cup unsweetend almond milk (or until consistency of creamy cookie dough batter)
• 1 egg (or flax egg to make it vegan)
•dark choco chips (or walnuts for sugar free)
Directions:
1.) mix together egg (or flax egg) with nut butter & xylitol
2.) add in flour & baking soda
3.) mix together and then add in dairy free milk
4.) fold in choco chips
5.) bake @ 350 for 8 minutes. Allow to cool and store in freezer or fridge. They will not harden. They will still stay cookie dough texture. This just ensures they stay together and don’t crumble apart. Promise!
I wish I wasn’t allergic to nuts, this looks so delicious 🙂
there is usually always an alternative! 🙂
Yum! Definitely going to give this a try soon (on another note, I nominated you for a Liebster award, no pressure to accept 🙂 http://beachbodybliss.com/2016/04/24/liebster/
