Salted Almond butter Christmas cookies. THESE ARE SO GOOD. I’m just going to get to the point and tell you the recipe so you can quickly make these as fast as possible. You’re welcome 🙂
•VEGAN•HEALTHY•GLUTEN-FREE•YUM•
IMG_7270You’ll need:
• 1 1/4 cups teff flour
• 1/2 tsp sea salt
• 3/4 cup almond butter <3
•1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 cup maple syrup
• 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
• Sea salt for garnish

Now for the fun part…
1.) heat oven to 350˚
2.) mix together the dry ingredients
3.) pour in the wet ingredients and combine altogether
3.) roll into balls onto a non stick baking sheet or parchment paper
4.) squish with a fork and sprinkle with sea salt
5.) bake for 9-10 minutes **do not exceed this time. They will get dry and hard.

**note: batter must be sticky enough to roll into balls. If the batter seems too dry, add unsweetened almond milk little by little.

P.S.
Let’s talk about this teff flour stuff. I had no idea what it was so little Noelle over here did her research and found out:
-it is a 100% whole grain flour
-has balanced amino acids
-high in fibre aiding in digestion and keeps you satiated for a lengthy period of time.
-gluten free
-low fat
-balances blood sugar
