Every time I go visit my mama we usually end up making something scrumptious. Todays creation was…healthy, guilt-free chocolate. Uhm…Yum! So very simple and minimum ingredients are needed. They make for great gifts for the holidays and it goes perfect with your morning tea….and midmorning tea…and lunch tea…and afternoon tea…and…well you get it. When is it not a good time for chocolate. Hehe.
Vegan • Healthy • Simple • YUM •
• 1/2 cup coconut oil
• 1/2 cup organic cacao powder
• 3 tbsp maple syrup
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
1.) Melt coconut oil on low heat
2.) Add in cacao powder & mix well
3.) Add in maple syrup & vanilla. Mix well.
4.) Pour into molding cups or in a blob on parchment paper and you can just break it into pieces once it has set
5.) Refrigerate for about and 20-30 minutes.
Mom and I tossed spelt pretzels in our choco to make chocolate covered pretzels. AMAZING.
You can also add many other things to spice it up, such as:
-chili flakes for a spicy kick
-sea salt for the salty/sweet
The list is endless. Get creative with it!
